For good reason, berries are a staple of many healthy diets. We like to think of them as another one of nature’s little powerhouses. Berries, like blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries are small but mighty fruits, often low in calories but high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and only contain natural sugars. Blueberries, in particular, are an excellent source of antioxidants, which help protect your cells from damage caused by free radicals.These compounds help reduce inflammation and promote overall well-being. Strawberries are a great source of Vitamin C, which is essential for maintaining a healthy immune system.

Makes: 16 oz cup 

 

You'll Need:

  • 1 cup of small ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries (or alternate frozen fruit)
  • 1 cup of fresh organic strawberries 
  • 1 tbsp of Organic Sugar Kelp Flakes or Organic Kelp Powder 
  • 3 tbsp of chunky peanut butter 
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon 
  • Dash of nutmeg

 

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. 


Adjust ingredients for flavor as needed for personal preference.
